BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas approve the agenda as amended. Defer item 11e. Key Information Report - Implementation of Plaza User Fees - Final Step (B de Haan)  Councillor Smyth is absent, move Report to March 4th 2026 Meeting

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the following meeting, be adopted as presented: February 4, 2026 – Regular Council Meeting

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas award the tender for roadside grass cutting to Superior Group for the price of $110.00 per hour plus HST for 2026, $115.00 per hour plus HST for 2027. AND THAT the Director of Transportation be authorized to sign all necessary documents to give effect to the contract.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas approve the purchase of a used Handy Hitch Grader Attachment from S&S Equipment and Supply Ltd in the amount of $6,500.00 plus HST to be funded from the Roads Reserve. AND THAT the Clerk and Director of Transportation be authorized to sign all necessary documents to give effect to the contract.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas declare the Municipal road allowance located between Parcel No. 0506- 001-003-15400 (PIN 661370224) and Parcel No. 0506-001-003-15800 (PIN 661370226) as surplus and prepare a Stop Up and Close by-law ; AND THAT staff be directed to proceed with the disposition process in accordance with Policy 1-10: Sale and Disposition of Land. Action: Council directed staff to not repair the culvert and sell property as is and use recent comparable appraisal rate to determine purchase price

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas contribute $500 from the General Working Reserve to match South Nation Conservation’s commitment for the 2026 Community Free Tree Giveaway program, thereby increasing the number of free trees available to South Dundas residents.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas award Tender PRF25-11 for grass cutting and trimming in South Dundas within Zones A through Zone K as outlined. AND THAT the Director of Parks, Recreation and Facilities be authorized to sign any documents necessary to affect the contract.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept the 2026 Donation allocation list as presented in Schedule “A”.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas adopt By-Law No. 2026-12 being a by-law to establish and amend fees and charges to be collected by various Municipal Departments. AND to repeal and replace By-Law No. 2025-08.
