BE IT RESOLVED THAT the March 27, 2024, Council Meeting of the Municipality of South Dundas now be opened at 5:27p.m.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council rise and reconvene into open session at 6:03 p.m and THAT Council direct Administration to carry out all actions as specified in the Closed Session Minutes.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas approve the agenda as amended: Move Item 10 f. Resolution Township of Perry - Amend Blue Box Regulations for 'Ineligible' Sources to Discussion Move Item 10 g. Resolution - Town of Goderich - Return to Combined ROMA and OGRA Conferences to Discussion Add By-Law No. 2024-26 - Appointing Director of South Dundas Fire and Emergency Services/Fire Chief

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the following meeting, including Closed Session minutes, be adopted as presented: a. March 6, 2024 Regular Meeting

THAT Council supports Plan of Subdivision Application No. 02- SD-S-2023, based on the conditions of approval described in Schedule “A” of the Action Request dated March 27, 2024 and further, that these conditions be forwarded to the United Counties of SDG and the applicant, representing the Municipality’s formal comments on the proposal.

THAT Council pre-approves the commitment for the purchase of additional two (2) carbon tanks from Continental Carbon Group, at a price of $68,120 (each) which will be included in the 2025 capital budget.

THAT, Staff proceed with Option 1 as recommended within Report PF2024-06 and replace the existing rooftop unit at the Justice Building.

THAT Council accept Report PF2024-08 to award the Loyalist Park and Steward Drive Gazebo Construction to Gaucher Excavation in the amount of $96,532.16+HST with funding from the Parkland Reserve Fund. And THAT, the Clerk and Director of Parks, Recreation, and Facilities be authorized to execute the contract.

THAT Council accept Report PF2024-07 to award the Viewing Platform Construction to Nick’s Landscaping & Property Maintenace in the amount of $34,550.00+HST And THAT, the Clerk and Director of Parks, Recreation, and Facilities be authorized to execute the contract.

THAT BY-LAW 2024-21 being a By-law to delegate authority Kimberley Casselman to perform Civil Marriages, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT Council approve By-law No. 2024-22, a by-law to enter into a development agreement with Ontario Power Generation Inc.

THAT By Law No. 2024-26 being a By-law to appoint Jeremy Alldred-Hughes as Director of Fire and Emergency Services/Fire Chief for the Municipality of South Dundas effective April 1 st, 2024 be read and passed, signed and sealed in open Council.

BE IT RESOLVED that Council convene to Closed Session at 7:46p.m. to discuss the following items under Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001; c) A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality of board; c) A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality of board; d) Labour Relations or Employee Negotiations d) Labour Relations or Employee Negotiations 2

THAT Council now adjourn to meet again at the call of the Chair.
