Regular Meeting

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas appoint the Deputy Treasurer to act as Clerk in her absence at the Twenty-Third Regular Council Meeting.

THAT the minutes of the Twenty-First Regular and In Camera Meetings and Twenty-Second Special in Camera Meeting of the Municipality of South Dundas be adopted as circulated.

THAT the Public Meeting to consider a Zoning By-law Amendment be opened at 7:03 p.m.

THAT the Public Meeting to consider a Zoning By-law Amendment be closed at 7:06 p.m.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept Report RF2019-09 to approve Fence Depot’s tender in the amount of $13,605.00 plus HST for repairs to the fence at JC Whitteker Park.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept Report RF2019-10 to approve ATEL Air’s tender in the amount of $14,911.00 plus HST for the replacement of a heat pump at the Morrisburg Fire Department.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept Report RF2019-11 to approve the recommended renovations; and, that Council grant an exemption from the Procurement Policy to allow Staff to pursue three quotes for the proposed work to avoid the time constraints of the tendering process.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept report TR2019-02 to amend the signing authority officers for the bank as attached.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept Report CAO2019-08 to authorize a change order to Porters’ Historical Restoration for the Morrisburg Plaza Canopy Renovation in the amount of $17,287.50 plus HST.

That By-Law No. 2019-53, being a By-law to amend By-law No. 2010-48, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

That By-Law No. 2019-54 being a By-law to adopt Policy No.’s 2- 2 – Property Tax Collection, 3-5 – Hiring Relatives Policy and 3- 22 – Cellular Phone Policy be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT all items listed under the General Consent section, with the exception of item "N" moved to discussion of the Agenda be adopted as presented

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas support the Iroquois Lawn Bowling Club in the submission of their funding application for the Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors Program for the upgrade of the lighting system at the Iroquois lawn bowling green.

THAT the Council proceed to In Camera in order to address a matter pertaining to: litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board.

THAT Council reconvene without reporting.

THAT By-Law No. 2019-55, being a By-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT Council now adjourn to meet again at the call of the Chair.
