BE IT RESOLVED THAT the January 22, 2025, Council Meeting of the Municipality of South Dundas now be opened at 5:27 p.m.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Kim Casselman be appointed Acting Clerk for the portion of Closed Session relating to labour relations or employee negotiations.

BE IT RESOLVED that Council convene to Closed Session at 5:28 p.m. to discuss the following items under Section 239 (2) of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001; (d) labour relations or employee negotiations

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas approve the agenda as presented.

THAT Council authorize the execution of a Pre-Servicing Agreement as described in Schedule “A,” between the Municipality of South Dundas and Valecraft Homes (2019)Ltd. for the Merkley Oakes Subdivision (SDG File No. 02-SD-S-2023), and further reduce the securities for a pre-servicing agreement to $50,0000. ACTIONS: Billings Ave East and West road naming to be reconsider for emergency services.

That By-Law No. 2025-03 being a By-law to impose a sewer service rate in Williamsburg, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed and furthermore that By-law No. 2024-08 be rescinded in its entirety.

THAT By-Law No. 2025-04, being a By-law to impose special annual drainage rates upon land in respect to which money is borrowed under the Tile Drainage Act, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT the Council of South Dundas approve By-law 2025-05 to provide partial abandonment from Station 0+00 to 13+29 Matilda Lot 29 Con 4 of the Baldwin-Harbers Municipal Drain within the limits of the Municipality of South Dundas.

THAT the Council of South Dundas approve By-law No 2025-06 to provide partial abandonment of Marcellus Branch 3 Municipal Drain from 0+00 to 23+50 Williamsburg E PT Lot 23 Con 6 and W PT Lot 22 Con 6 within the limits of the Municipality of South Dundas.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of South Dundas authorize the execution of an agreement between the Municipality of South Dundas and the Corporation of the Township of Russell for the use of the Russell Township Animal Shelter be read and passed in Open Council, signed and sealed this 22nd day of January 2025.

THAT all items listed under General Consent section of the Agenda be adopted as presented.

THAT By-law No. 2025-12, being a By-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution be read and passed, in open Council, signed and sealed.
