Regular Meeting

THAT the minutes of the Thirty-Fifth Regular and In Camera Meeting and the minutes of the Thirty-Sixth and Thirty-Seventh Special Meetings of the Municipality of South Dundas be adopted as circulated.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept Report CLK2020-01 to authorize hiring a janitor for a one-year contract.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept report CLK2020-02 to appoint Ethan Robert as a Lottery License Officer.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas accept Report CAO2020-01 to approve the application for Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP): Green Infrastructure Stream.

THAT By-Law No. 2020-01, being a By-law to borrow money to meet, until taxes are collected, current expenditures of the Corporation for the year, be read and passed, signed and sealed in open Council.

THAT By-law No. 2020-02, being a By-law to establish a highway be read and passed, in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT By-law No. 2020-03, being a By-law to repeal By-law 2017-44 and to Establish & Regulate the South Dundas Fire & Emergency Services Department, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT By-law No. 2020-04 being a By-law to appoint a Tile Drain Inspector be read and passed, in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT all items listed under General Consent section of the Agenda be adopted as presented, save and except for Items 8.b, 8.c, 8.d and 8.i be moved to Discussion Items.

THAT Council proceed In Camera in order address a matter pertaining to personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employee; and THAT Council proceed In Camera in order address a matter pertaining to advice that is subject to solicitor/ client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas rise and reconvene and authorize Staff to proceed as directed.

THAT By-law No. 2020-05, being a By-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT Council now adjourn to meet again at the call of the Chair.
