Regular Meeting

THAT the minutes of the Seventy-First Regular and In Camera meetings and the Seventy-Second Special meeting of Council be adopted as circulated.

THAT Council accept Report ES2021-02 to approve the proposed black chain link fence design provided by the Morrisburg Golf Club for the barrier between the Morrisburg Golf Club and Morrisburg Beach.

THAT Council accept Report ES2021-03 to direct Staff to proceed with executing a new design for the Matilda Landfill with a 40,000 cubic meter expansion on top of the existing waste mound; and, THAT Council direct Staff to execute an amendment to the existing Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) to increase the existing volume permitted at the Matilda Landfill to include the additional 40,000 cubic meters.

THAT Council accept Report ES2021-04 to approve the management of leaf and yard waste through the utilization of a private waste hauler collecting materials from specialized pre-set daily drop off location within the Municipality 3 times a week for 6 weeks in 2021; and, THAT Council approve the locations of the single day drop off locations to be at 10 Bouck Street in Iroquois, and 5 Allison Avenue Morrisburg, and the drop off days alternate between the two locations to service both areas equally.

That By-Law No. 2021-07, being a By-law to provide an interim tax levy for 2021, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

That By-law No. 2021-08, being a By-law to amend By-law No. 2020-22 to govern the proceedings of Council and its Committees be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT By-law No. 2021-09, being a By-law to exempt lands legally described as Lot 101, Block 26 on Plan 29; Part 1, 8R5203, in the former geographic Village of Morrisburg, from Part Lot Control, be read and passed in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT all items listed under General Consent section of the Agenda be adopted as presented, save and except for Item 9.j be moved to Discussion Items.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas proceed In Camera pursuant to Section 239 (b) and (c) of the Municipal Act, 2001, more specifically personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; and, a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board.

THAT the Council of the Municipality of South Dundas rise and reconvene and authorize Staff to proceed as directed.

That Council approve the appointment of Walter Bailey to the Iroquois Waterfront Committee.

THAT By-law No. 2021-10, being a By-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by resolution be read and passed, in open Council, signed and sealed.

THAT Council now adjourn to meet again at the call of the Chair.
